Dr Gareth Weston completed his medical degree at Melbourne University in 1996. He trained at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne before commencing specialist training at Monash Medical Centre in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He completed a PhD in molecular biology of reproduction at Monash University, Cambridge University in the UK, and the Peter MacCallum Cancer institute in Melbourne, as well as a Masters in Public Health at Monash University.
Gareth worked for a year in Capetown South Africa before commencing a 3 year advanced training in Infertility. He has published more than 40 text book chapters and articles in the infertility field, and is well known nationally. Passionate about conservative infertility treatments, he founded City Babies in January 2013, with the aim of providing low cost non-IVF fertility options for couples having difficulty conceiving. He has a caring and sensitive manner, and brings the latest scientific knowledge to decision making with his patients.
Dr Weston consults regularly at various locations, including Bairnsdale, Sale Traralgon, Springvale, Sunshine and Point Cook. All IUI procedures are done in Richmond office.

He has been in private practice for 6 years, and is Clinical Director of Monash IVF Sunshine and Monash IVF Cremorne, Sunshine and Sale.

Dr Larmour completed both his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Melbourne, before obtaining his FRANZCOG qualification through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Luke consults from Richmond, Bundoora and Clayton and is passionate about helping couples achieve a family.
Jim was educated in the UK culminating in a PhD from the John Innes Institute. He then spent ten years in basic research in Europe and the USA.
He changed to animal IVF in 1987 in Cambridge followed by two years in New Zealand, before moving to Australia to work in clinical embryology.
Over twenty years later, having worked in six units (four as scientific director) including Sydney IVF and Monash IVF, he now looks after Optimal IVF and City Babies. He has been an RTAC (Reproductive Technologies Accreditation Committee) inspector since 1998.
Susan is a Registered Nurse with 30 years experience in infertility.
Once referred from the doctor, Susan provides the education, support and guidance to couples throughout the entire treatment process. Her role includes instruction on medication and injection technique, ultrasound monitoring of ovulation and preparation for Intra Uterine Insemination.
With certificates in Family Planning and Natural Fertility, she has an extensive knowledge of the menstrual cycle and the medications involved with Ovulation Induction and Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation. This enables her to individualise couples’ treatment regimes to incorporate aspects of both medicine and natural fertility to maximise a couples chance of conception.
Susan has also participated in infertility research and presented at fertility conferences both nationally and internationally.

Leesa is a registered Psychologist of 17 years with a Masters of Psychology. She enjoys working as a counselling psychologist in a wide variety of settings.
Leesa has a deep interest in assisted reproduction and genetics and has undertaken further study in this area. She has gained additional experience in the field by working as a counsellor in Assisted Reproduction, assisting couples to manage treatment demands and all the emotional challenges associated with it.
