Belinda Chuah

Belinda is a registered psychologist with specialist training in the area of health psychology and has been practising in both private and public health care settings. She graduated with a Doctorate in psychology from the University of Melbourne in 2005. Belinda has full membership with the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA) and the College of Health Psychologists.

 

Belinda specialises in providing psychological services to support individuals who may be experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties , and those associated with complex health conditions. She began working in the area of infertility counselling in 2008 and continues to be highly passionate about this area. In addition to providing individual therapy she has a special interest in relationship counselling and couples therapy.

 

Belinda's therapeutic approaches draw from evidence-based practise and include: Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness based therapy, Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

 

Belinda is registered for Medicare, Work Cover and private insurance rebates.

Leesa Tinney

Leesa is a registered Psychologist of 17 years with a Masters of Psychology. She enjoys working as a counselling psychologist in a wide variety of settings.

 

Leesa has a deep interest in assisted reproduction and genetics and has undertaken further study in this area. She has gained additional experience in the field by working as a counsellor at Monash IVF, assisting couples to manage treatment demands and all the emotional challenges associated with the IVF process.

 

Leesa is currently working as a sessional lecturer at Monash University teaching subjects in counselling and ethics.
